I'm a 66 year old psychiatrist, activist and author. I'm very excited about my upcoming adult novel A REBEL COMES OF AGE, due out Dec 21, 2013.

A REBEL COMES OF AGE is a sequel to my first young adult novel THE BATTLE FOR TOMORROW. My first novel concerns a 16 year old girl who fights for her right to live independently after being arrested for participating in the blockade and occupation of the US Capitol. It won a Pinnacle Achievement Award and a Reader Views Reviewer's Choice Award.

In the second book of the series, Ange is 17 and joins Occupy Wall State.

Pfizer reported that its mRNA flu shot outperformed conventional flu vaccines in a Phase 3 trial, but independent experts told The Defender the company’s study overstates the benefits and downplays safety signals. They cited flaws in the Pfizer-funded research, including missing data that call into question the trial’s conclusions.
