Her first novel, A Thousand Stars, historical fiction set in early Barbados and Rhode Island, was published in March 2016 and is available at Amazon. This continues the story from Let the Little Birds Sing, and On a Lark introduces the characters of Jackson and Miles from a moonshine family in North Carolina. Of course, these parallel stories will come together at the end of Book 2. Book 3 in this series will, hopefully, come in 2020, and it will be set in Texas during the Civil War. This series was inspired by a young girl coming to Central Texas on a wagon train, a girl whose story spoke to me.(less)

The Art of Talking to Yourself by Vironika Tugaleva
“No tree tries to become a certain kind of tree. No flower tries to become a certain kind of flower. The tree and the flower open up to the sun and soak up water. Thus, they grow into themselves. No judgment. No expectations. No commentary. Your task is the same. If you can stop trying so hard to become who you think you should be, and instead commit to understanding and nourishing yourself, you will bloom into whatever kind of person you are.”
