My name is Nick Abbate. I have been athlete all of my life, but I have had challenges just like everybody else. The constant trials and tribulations have come at a price. That's why I have two stories.

Here is a brief recap of my story. Starting back in in January of 2004 I found myself freshly married and fat over 352lbs to be exact. I decided to lose weight and became the first guy ever to lose over 100lbs on Weight Watchers. I ended up losing 135 lbs in 10 months, getting down to the weight of 217lbs. During that time I became an accomplished marathoner and runner. Completed 5 marathons in 5 consecutive months and finished over 70 + organized races, with a 3rd place finish in a South Carolina 10k.
