Brook Zelcer began work on The Little Book of Yankees Evil several years ago in response to the inane ranting of friends and colleagues helplessly trapped in the Yankees matrix. The writer's poetry has been published nationally and internationally and his tennis writing has been featured at Tennisweek.com. Zelcer, who attended his first Mets game as a 7 year-old in 1969, uses the prevalence of the Yankees logo to teach the word “ubiquitous” to his English classes at Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan, New Jersey, where he is also the tennis coach. ...more
