I thought your review of this book was very funny! I have the same problem with Winter Moon. His premise that squid from another dimension would reanimate the dead for no foreseeable gain whatsoever is a little too far out for me. I think it's more humorous than scary. Now, Night Chills, Intensity, and The Door To December is a whole 'nother deal entirely.
