Kristi O'Callahan is a Special Educator from the Hudson Valley, New York for the past 13 years. She is currently working in the field of Early Intervention while trying to fulfill a passion of creating awareness for children with special needs or "unique abilities". The vision for her books is to create characters all children can relate to, but focusing in on those with disabilities. Through Kristi's Special Senses organization she wishes to offer insight to both general and special needs children. Her hope is that the books will eventually be used as a resource or tool for educating our general education children, and at the same time giving a voice to our "unique ability" children. ...more
