Lea Darragh was once a dreamer of words and stories, until she decided one day to put her hand to creating a whole new world. Telling stories of hope, desperation, love and loss, Lea has written characters that everyone can relate to at one point or another. Her stories are realistic and cover topics that can be difficult to face. She will never shy away from the difficulties that life throws, and will bravely continue to write about them.

Your excitement. Your highs! Or your low, low moods when everything turns to shit, and it will, otherwise you're not doing it right. You need them to lure you off the ledge, to help talk out plotting ideas. They'll tell you when you your hero isn't doing it for them. They're brilliant for hashing out that meaty climax so you get the biggest reader impact. Other writers are the oil in the wheels that keep me going...and if all else fails, join Pinterest. (less)

Having recently experienced the death of a loved one shortly before starting this book, I used writing as a cathartic expression, a way to work through what I was going through. Circumstantially, This Love is a different story compared to my own experience, yet losing someone hurts, not matter how it enters our lives. I'm incredibly proud of this book, and I hope readers can relate, or understand why I wrote it as I did. It requires an open mind, and above everything else, an open heart : ))(less)

Since the release of Almost Mine (which is going very well indeed) I have been working on two more tales of love and pain and fighting for what we want. The first, A Kiss in the Rain, is a lovely story of two people who are trying to forget the past in order to move on with their lives, but there is something about the past that dictates the future. It can't be forgotten, but acknowledged if they Read more of this blog post »
