Hi! Welcome to my place and thanks for the visit. I know you are here to learn a little about me and I am indeed very happy to share that with you.
I grew up in a small rural community in the Parish of St Ann, Jamaica, in the days when the very famous phrase, “Spare not the rod and spoil the child” was the order of the day, at home, but more so at school. I had my share of it, not because I was a rude child but because my teachers believed I have the ability and potential to excel. Today, I am grateful because those spankings surely bear much fruit. For the past twenty years, I have been employed to a Government entity and currently worked as a Compliance Officer.

As a child I loved to read, but like most children, I hate reading books without pictures. Comics and Fairy Tales were my favourites. During high school when I was exposed to English Literature, it was really a struggle especially after I turned the pages and not a single picture was in site. Eventually, after a long inner battle, I began to realise that the pictures are not on the pages but are created in the mind of the reader as the story unfolds. Since then, novels here I come! Barbara Cartland had been one of my favourite authors back in the early days. Now I just take any book that grabs my interest and started reading. My interest later expanded to current affairs material, magazines and religious books.
I started writing in 2012, an inspiration which came about from the need to have a creative hobby that will bring both challenge and fun. Today, I believed I have made the right choice. I started writing quiet simple but find myself inspired to take up greater challenges. So far I have completed five (5) books, four are currently published and the fifth “The Rapture and the Tribulation Revealed: Which is First?” is now on pre-release at Apple, Kobo and Barnes & Noble. It will be fully released by the end of September 2013. The challenge continues …. and so, I am also half way in my first novel!
I believe books are adorable. They give an author the privilege to express him/herself in a creative way that the reader can connect to, and appreciate, whether the book seeks to bring knowledge, inspiration or the opportunity to travel with known or recently-met characters through the pages of a somewhat interesting and unpredictable life. Whether you are a reader or writer, there is much to both gain and share when it comes to a book. I am happy I choose to be both. What is more relaxing than reading a good book?!!
