I'd love to visit Elizabeth Gaskell…moreThis is a very difficult question! Being an historical fiction writer my first choice would be to go back in time. I'd love to visit Elizabeth Gaskell's book, North and South, where the setting is nineteenth century England. Although I would be forfeiting many of my rights as a modern woman, which I would not want to do for long. I so enjoyed the BBC movie starring Daniela Denby-Ashe , Richard Armitage and Sinead Cusack that I would definitely be Daniela's character, Margaret Hale. I love her spunk and determination to help the poor and improve their lives. (less)
