N.E. Hall is a commercial construction estimator on Long Island, New York, with more than twenty years of experience pricing real buildings: schools, firehouses, bridges, parks and towers.

The Junior Contractor books turn that jobsite know-how into puzzles, math and stories for kids ages 7 to 12, so young readers learn how the places around them actually get built. The Junior Contractor Stories are illustrated chapter books that follow a real project from empty site to ribbon cutting, and each one pairs with a Junior Contractor activity workbook.

N.E. Hall also makes large-print puzzle books for grandparents and detailed coloring books for grown-ups. Published by Moriches Bay Press: morichesbaypress.com
