N. J. Renshaw writes about conduct under pressure: time, power, discipline, artificial intelligence, and the systems to which people outsource judgment.

The books return to the awkward point where a declared principle meets status, fatigue, fear—or a system built to absorb blame. That is usually where the alibis begin.

Old arguments matter here, but only once they leave the showroom: in offices, friendships, automated workflows, ordinary Tuesdays, and the private hour when nobody is watching.

Renshaw writes for readers who want ideas elegant, unsentimental, and difficult to use as an excuse.

I wrote it for people who make, review, or approve work that has to travel without its maker
