Originally from Wisconsin, Tanya E. E. E. Schmid was a Doctor of Oriental Medicine until 2014 when she started a permaculture farm near Bern, Switzerland. When her husband died unexpectedly in 2019, she sold the farm and moved to southern Switzerland to write fulltime. Her work has appeared in Cleaver Magazine, The Fourth River, Valparaiso Fiction Review, Ponder Review, ENO, Sky Island Journal, Flash Fiction Magazine, and others.
