A 1977 graduate of the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Mass Communication, I'm a six-tool media professional.

Print: Much of my nearly 50-year career has been spent in news, including editing positions at USA Today, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Fresno Bee, TODAY (now Florida Today), the Fort Myers News-Press, The Ledger in Lakeland, Fla., the Times (Gainesville, Ga.) and the Rome (Ga.) News-Tribune. We briefly did a magazine in Rome (Druck Report) as well.

Digital: In Rome, I launched one of the state's first and most successful digital news sources, Hometown Headlines in 2004. We were purchased by the Marietta (Ga.) newspaper group in 2022.

Broadcast: I also spent more than eight years as the host of a two-hour week ...more
