Layla Cornell is a Croatian author making her debut with Annoying the Calmest One.

She's been writing for as long as she can remember, but it was always the thing she did on the side—squeezing stories between building a career in law and raising a family.

For years, she was active in the fanfiction community, where she learned that the best stories come from deeply understanding and following your characters.

Now, with more time to dedicate to her passion, she's finally publishing her own work.
