Born and raised in New York City, Michael G. Velázquez is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Pepperdine University and Loyola Law School (Los Angeles, CA).

For more than 26 years, he has been an ardent advocate for children diagnosed with cancer and their families, dedicating his life to ensuring that kids facing cancer are never forgotten.

While not a parent of a child with cancer (his two sons, ages 16 and 14, are healthy), Michael has committed himself to standing with this underserved community simply because it is the right thing to do.

Michael is currently committed to funding his "impossible dream": the development of a first - of - its - kind National Hall of Champions and Learning Center on Childhood Cancer(tm).
