David J. Hensley is a biblical and apocryphal scholar, historian, pastor, and author dedicated to helping readers rediscover the power and relevance of God’s Word in the modern world. A graduate of Liberty University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history with a heavy emphasis in theology, David combines historical insight with theological depth to bring Scripture to life.

As an eschatologist and apologist, his writings explore prophecy, Christian mysticism, and the moral challenges of the last days. Through his devotionals, Bible studies, and theological reflections, David seeks to draw readers closer to Christ and to inspire moral courage in an age of spiritual confusion.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, David lives in Coastal Sout

I’d wander its labyrinthine halls, converse with sentient texts, and help preserve forbidden histories that others tried to erase. It’s a world where ideas are sacred and dangerous, and I’d be right at home.

Or maybe I’d slip into the quiet magic of Narnia, not for the battles, but for the conversations with Aslan, the golden hush of the Wood Between the Worlds, and the chance to walk with creatures who remember the beginning of time. I’d gather stories from fauns and dryads, and write them down so no one forgets.(less)

I'll give two:

(1) The family photo on the mantle always showed five people smiling-until one morning, there were six. No one had taken a new picture, and the extra figure was staring directly at me.

(2) Every night, the baby monitor crackled with static until a voice whispered, “Don’t worry, I’ve already checked under the bed.” But the crib was empty, and the closet door was slowly swinging open.(less)

Chulu (Jesus Christ is the Way) added a status update: I'm in week 4 of From the Cradle to the Crown, and I wanted to share this bit about John 1:14: "And He is 'full of grace and truth.' These two qualities are not balanced in Jesus, as if He is part grace and part truth—He is completely full of both. In Him, grace never compromises truth, and truth never cancels grace." I think this is very inspirational for Christian living.
