"Jakabok thee demon is turning out to be quite the trickster,as the reader, he’s trying to almost groom us into having sympathy for him, and subsequently “releasing” him into our world as if he was trapped in the book itself. Never in my life have a read a book with this point of view, it’s quite alarming actually, to have the murderous demon trying to coax you, and sugarcoat his atrocities. "I’ve decided with all recent tumultuous, and hefty reads i’ve done recently that i would return to a book i’ve loved since the 4th grade. I remember asking my librarian for a book about cats, and this was what I was presented with. I have it on hardcover and it’s the name sake of my oldest kitty Kaspar :) I read this book and was gifted with a kitten the next months prior, and alas, a Kaspar of my own <3" — Feb 25, 2026 09:56PM
