Just like Connie, I love a great adventure – like getting lost in a good book! When I was a kid, my mom took my sister, Joelle, and me to the library every week. We were allowed to check out five books at a time – a nearly impossible task! And when it was time to check out, the librarian carefully stacked our treasures - opened the top book, removed the card, stamped it, replaced it, then closed the book. She would set that book aside and begin the process again. It created a certain rhythm – swish, slide, stamp, slide, swish, repeat. When we returned home, we would dive into our wonderful adventures. However, sometimes I would pretend to be the librarian first.
