My story is varied and colorful, and my journey to becoming a writer was a wild ride that led me in many different directions before landing here.
I won my first writing award in first grade. Then I took a 30 year break from creative writing, in which time I spend adventuring around the world collecting memories and anecdotes that I didn't know at the time would serve to provide with a lifetime of fodder for stories. I worked in many different industries, went to art school, sang in bands, started a personal chef business, all the while feeling rather unsure about which direction of my many passions to pursue.
