"Beautifully written but painfully slow in the beginning. I really could not care less about all the attention the side characters get before Vasya does. I understand why it is written this way, but it’s so boring that I am constantly putting the book down to do something else. It’s like eating an okay meal for my health and setting it down between bites. Doesn’t stimulate my appetite" — Sep 12, 2026 08:06PM
