Sarah Harrison is a fine artist living in Kent, England, and debuts as an author with her illustrated story book, The Cat Who Was King.

Fuelled by a lifelong love for picture books and storytelling, she devoted her time to creating this, her first children's book, which she illustrated herself.

Sarah's profession as an artist has greatly enriched her ability to bring a story to life with heart-warming, gentle and amusing illustrations.

Sarah attended Art College in Kent and subsequently spent 12 years living in Spain where she worked as a sign-writer and sold her artwork in local markets. She then returned to the UK where she lives with her children and her cats.

Absolutely stunning book, beautifully crafted- an amazing journey with compelling characters. Probably my favourite read ever!
