E. Lawrence Hardin is a native or Austin, Texas. Following a severe injury which ended his career in track & field as a sprinter, he helped found the Austin Striders Track Club and served as the primary sprint coach for over a decade, producing countless All-American and World Class Athletes. Hardin's career included 21 years with Motorola which allowed him to experience firsthand and embrace people and cultures around the world.
