I have a life-long interest in studying the Bible with a focus on prophecy. That's what my books are about. I have an M.Phil. and M.Div. from Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary, and I'm also a self-published author at Lulu.com. I am married and and have one daughter.

Guess I missed it. I am a christian so of course I believe in Christianity as revealed by Jesus and the apostles. Today there are many different ideas about just what exactly the revelation was. I understand the revelation as faith, love and trust in the God of the Bible. That is the God sometimes referred to as the God of Israel. Jesus is the example of faith that God gave us to follow, so that we have eternal life. I think this is what the Book of Revelation teaches. That is what most of my research and writing is directed towards.

Spirituality covers a broad area. It is sometimes connected with the supernatural. As far as evidence is concerned, I think the nature of consciousness, the origins of life and the physical laws of nature point toward design, purpose and organization. Which came first, matter or intelligence? I would say intelligence. I believe there is a reason for things rather than no reason. The universe is God's art. Thanks for asking and sorry for the slow response.(less)

Iran

From my 2009 book "The Gospel Prophecy."

From close examination of the book of Daniel, we see that history has not fulfilled the prophetic events portrayed. The present situation in Iran sets the stage for the opening act. If it is time for the fulfilling of these prophecies, we should expect the following. 1. The northwestern part of Iran will break away and join northern Iraq and other Kurdish ar Read more of this blog post »

"The same old Dispensational drivel, complete with the usual erroneous interpretation of Bible passages. Don't waste your money or your time on this book like I did. "
They Lied to You About the Rapture Study Manual by Alan DiDio
"The title of this book is misleading. The word "Lied" in the title led to believe that this was a book (study guide) about the viewpoint that the rapture is a "lie." However, the book is just the opposite. It is a book that supports the idea of a rap" Read more of this review »

“Let us determine, then, What is reasoning? and what passion? and how many forms of the passions? and whether reasoning bears sway over all of these? Reasoning is, then, intellect accompanied by a life of rectitude, putting foremost the consideration of wisdom. And wisdom is a knowledge of divine and human things, and of their causes. And this is contained in the education of the law; by means of which we learn divine things reverently, and human things profitably. And the forms of wisdom are prudence, and justice, and manliness, and temperance. The leading one of these is prudence; by whose means, indeed, it is that reasoning bears rule over the passions.”
4 Maccabees 1:14-19

“The world has been created for this purpose, that we may be born; we are born for this end, that we may acknowledge the Maker of the world and of ourselves—God; we acknowledge Him for this end, that we may worship Him; we worship Him for this end, that we may receive immortality as the reward of our labours, since the worship of God consists of the greatest labours; for this end we are rewarded with immortality, that being made like to the angels, we may serve the Supreme Father and Lord for ever, and may be to all eternity a kingdom to God. This is the sum of all things, this the secret of God, this the mystery of the world, from which they are estranged, who, following present gratification, have devoted themselves to the pursuit of earthly and frail goods, and by means of deadly enjoyments have sunk as it were in mire and mud their souls, which were born for heavenly pursuits. Lactantius, Divine Institutes, Chap. VI”
Lactantius

Philo of Alexandria
“Perhaps some very wicked persons will suspect that the lawgiver is here speaking enigmatically, when he says that the Creator repented of having created man, when he beheld their wickedness; on which account he determined to destroy the whole race. But let those who adopt such opinions as these know, that they are making light of and extenuating the offences of these men of old time, by reason of their own excessive impiety; for what can be a greater act of wickedness than to think that the unchangeable God can be changed?”
Philo of Alexandria, Volume III. On the Unchangeableness of God. On Husbandry. Concerning Noah's Work as a Planter. On Drunkenness. On the Prayers and Curses uttered by Noah when he became Sober.

Philo of Alexandria
“...the test of truth is proof combined with reason.

Philo of Alexandria; Book 30: The Special Laws, IV”
Philo of Alexandria, De specialibus legibus, III-IV

“To sum up: it is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. If a man, holding a belief which he was taught in childhood or persuaded of afterwards, keeps down and pushes away any doubts which arise about it in his mind, purposely avoids the reading of books and the company of men that call into question or
discuss it, and regards as impious those questions which cannot easily be asked without
disturbing it—the life of that man is one long sin against mankind.”
William K. Clifford, THE ETHICS OF BELIEF
