Margarita Artista began writing the moment she could hold a pen. Her love of whimsical and fantastical adventures, combined with her fondness of social messaging and calls for change, has greatly inspired the body of her work. She enjoys dabbling with descriptive metaphors, witty dialogue, and meaningful character development to craft intentional and relatable stories for her readers, while simultaneously offering fun and romantic escapes from reality.

After spending over a decade in flux between writing and editing, Margarita self-published the first book of her debut urban-romantasy series, The Phoenix Keeper and the City of the Sun, on November 3, 2023.
