Michael Watkinson is a British author, educator, and former soldier whose work explores resilience, repair, and the human cost of silence. He is the author of Kintsugi Man, an illustrated work of fiction inspired by the Japanese philosophy of embracing imperfection, and The People We Trust With Our Children, a memoir grounded in lived experience within the UK education system.

Michael holds a BSc in Technology: Design and Innovation from The Open University, along with Qualified Teacher Status and certifications in CBT and psychodynamic counselling.
