Simon Austin did a brief spell as a soldier before gaining a 1st Degree in Chemistry. He has spent the last twenty-odd years as a (self-confessed) technical genius within the Polymers and Coatings Industry.

During his spare time Simon has written and e-published two full thriller/adventure novels, and has several more in various stages of progress. He enjoys reading, and has been influenced by, authors such as Alistair MacLean, Clive Cussler, Ian Fleming and Dick Francis, amongst others.

Simon Austin lives in Lincolnshire with his wife, family and dogs.
