I am passionate about running, writing, reading, good food, anything French, and my family. I have 3 children, 3 grandchildren, and I have been married to a wonderful man for forty years. I just retired from teaching after forty years. I am fluent in French, a little less fluent in Spanish, but I can manage, and I can read Italian. My writing specialties are parenting, education, running, and self-help. We have a new border collie puppy who is so much smarter than I am and 2 ginormous cats.

What Happened When I Didn’t Use an Outline for My Book. How not having a plan can work sometimes.

One of the writing rules I hear often is a writer should have a plan before writing. This is a great idea because if the writer knows what comes next everything may flow better. I have found though that breaking a writing rule here and there can be magical. Let me explain by telling you about the book I am writing.
