Claire Fawcett, a Social Anthropology and Politics graduate from Queen’s University Belfast, has been writing for a little over a year and has completed one historical fiction novel with a psychological, modern edge called "In the Impetus of its Fire". She is currently working on a second novel, a fictionalisation of her family history in Belfast during the Second World War while working full time in Finance.

During her tenure as a board member of the International Association for Democracy, Claire authored an op-ed examining Northern Ireland 27 years after the Good Friday Agreement.
