Darlene was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan. After college she worked as a printer and sales rep for a New Age school on the Leelanau Peninsula, and edited their quarterly magazine. After moving to Cincinnati, Ohio she worked as a printer, production photographer, graphic artist, and art dealer. She loves travel and has visited many points around the globe. An avid gardener, her love of flowers finds its way into most of her stories in one way or another.
