I think I’ve always been a hopeless romantic. My favorite movies and books have always centered around love stories—the deeper the connection, the better. I admit to being especially drawn to anything that carries me back in time.

Saying “yes” to the love of my life in front of a huge crowd all those years ago remains the best decision I’ve ever made. I love being that amazing man’s wife and the mother of two truly wonderful young adults. The three of them are my world—not just my family, but my closest friends.

I’m also a self-confessed crazy cat lady, hopelessly weak when it comes to kittens in need of love. As a proud “foster fail,” I’ve officially been banned by my family from fostering again anytime soon.
