I write because it is an outlet. A way for the thoughts in my head to find life. I've only been writing for a few years, but the joy I find in the act is unparalleled.

At first, it was a way to connect with my children. Stories I'd written for them prodded at a desire I didn't know I had.

Sure, there are other things I enjoy. Sports. Running. Reading. Looking up at the night sky.

But writing...that's my love.
