Joe Paranteau's first sales job was painting rocks and selling them door to door. He was eight.

What followed was a career built on being early. Hosted CRM before anyone called it SaaS. Microsoft Azure back when customers insisted cloud computing would never catch on. Twenty years at Microsoft, where he personally closed $2.26 billion in revenue and led teams that closed billions more.

It was a long road to get there. Raised in poverty as the first generation in his family to grow up outside Indian country, Joe served in the U.S. Air Force to fund his education. Along the way he delivered newspapers, washed dishes, fought fires, worked as a trainer at SeaWorld, and served as an aide to a governor.
