August Ritchie is a lifelong environmental and wildlife activist, writer, poet and refugee of the technology start-up world.

He has a deep interest in philosophy, futurism and strategies / structures to save the last of the remaining nature. When he is not gardening, hiking or sailing, you'll find him surfing the waves in the western Pacific ... far, far away from technology.

His first book, the eco-fiction adventure: The Last Fish, is meant to inspire people of all ages toward a life of environmental action, sustainable practices and conservation ... and if possible, help build the next generation of nature guardians. The entire story was written and illustrated while living in and marveling at the natural beauty of Japan. Hope you enjoy!
