Nancy J. Farrier grew up on a small farm in the Midwest amidst a close-knit family and a large extended family. She loved farm life including the animals, cooking, gardening and canning, but not so much the cleaning house part. A little-known fact is that she preferred to help with feeding cattle or mending fence than helping with housework.

A wonderful gothic suspense with hints of a well known fairy tale, plus a bit of romance. I listened to the audiobook and it was well read.

A unique setting and two very lovable dogs make this story a fun read. The tension and mystery drive the story forward. Kara and Beau have a history that complicates their sweet romance. An enjoyable read.

Heartfelt Story This story is a wonderful romance full of suspense and intrigue. Star and Daniel face complicated conflicts but need to learn a lesson in faith. I thoroughly enjoyed this novella.
