It takes place in a quirky museum, sort of like the Mummer's Museum combined with the Museum of Jurassic Technology - a huge cabinet of wonders. There, our hero for a variety of reasons, good and bad, plots the theft of the museum's prized possession, the Step Reckoner, one of only three existent. It was the first mechanical computer and was built of wheels and gears and handles and was designed by Gottfried Leibniz around 1672.(less)

Since I have been writing professionally since my mid 20's, it's less inspiration, and more a daily process. Sort of one foot in front of the other. A…more
Since I have been writing professionally since my mid 20's, it's less inspiration, and more a daily process. Sort of one foot in front of the other. Although I have to admit there are many days where it's one foot behind the other. And when that occurs, I create questions about the project that I then must find answers to. That usually gets the feet moving forward again.(less)
