The semi-official bio goes something like this:

He has never failed to include an adverb or two for the express purpose of inciting the ire of Stephen King's Disciples of Adverbicide.

He is the founder of The Herscher Project, a hibernating international online writer/artist group, and a former member (prior to their untimely demises) of Elfwood, Wyvernsmiths, and Sky-Tribe. Jim is a former member of the River Valley Voices writers group of Kankakee County, Illinois, and a current member of the Flat River Community Library's Writer's Loft in Greenvi

“Sometimes the title IS the story, and the rest is just an explanation.”
James K. Bowers

“How massively the mountains stand, while low to the ground the sand blows. The sand blows on and on. And then there are no mountains, none at all, the sand has kissed and whispered them away. And still, the sand blows on.”
Tanith Lee, Delirium's Mistress

“I have never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or gorillas. When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room.”
Ray Bradbury, Zen in the Art of Writing: Releasing the Creative Genius Within You

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”
Robert A. Heinlein

“There are so many fragile things, after all. People break so easily, and so do dreams and hearts.”
Neil Gaiman, Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders

“Love never reasons but profusely gives......gives like a thoughtless prodigal, it's all and trembles then, lest it has done too little. ”

Don Martinez Jim, first off thanks for putting Dinétah Dragon on your "on-my-sff-wishlist" shelf. Second, thanks for the vote on the site blog. Third, thanks for voicing support for veterans: I'm hoping to get some awareness out there with the Blue Star Drive, and encourage everyone to contribute.

Thank you very much for the notice!
