Jolinda Mäkinen is an artist and avid writer of stories transcending genre boundaries. She is the author of the YA fantasy trilogy ”The Bladewings”, a tale of intrigue and adventure in a 1700's alternative history Romania, and a mystery spin-off yet to be published.

She loves bringing stories to life with words and drawings, creating fantastical worlds and journeying across the expanses of imagination. When she's not writing, you might find her playing the violin on the banks of the Sansretour or delving into the mysteries of quantum physics. She is currently located in Romania, but would like to move to a galaxy far, far away, or at least go shoot some arrows with Legolas.
