Rodney G. Williams is a writer, marketing consultant, chef, and genealogist. In 2011 he published Memorable Mornings, a coffee-table cookbook focused on breakfast and brunch entertaining, and his work has appeared on One for the Table, Narratively, and two anthologies. After leaving his career as a healthcare financing and actuarial junior executive, he went on to build a $2M hospitality brand with two locations. His forthcoming memoir tackles the intersection of race, history, and the criminal justice system through the lens of an African-American male “with promise,” wrestling with the high expectations that accompany being born just after and in the cradle of the Civil Rights movement.
