Samir Shah is a psychiatrist and a lawyer, residing in India. He was going through a dark phase in his life when he was possessed by an urge to write. It felt therapeutic. The writings resulted into this award winning book.

He is unable to write on demand. But he is compelled to pen when seized by a breakthrough insight.
