Thanks for the invite,Jeff! It is an honor indeed. Looking forward to reading your books and reviews!
Thanks Madeleine - looking forward to future bookish chats as well! Love that you just read "Wrinkle in Time." That was a favorite when I was young and makes me think it's time to revisit it soon. Plus "Omensetter's Luck" has been sitting on my shelf for years - got to pull it down soon.
Sweet can of corn, you weren't kidding about our similar literary tastes! I couldn't hit the "accept" button quickly enough. Thank you so much for the friend request and the kind words you sent to accompany it. I am so very much looking forward to getting to know you and chatting about all kinds of bookish things in the future.

Thanks for the compliment on the review of _A Void_--I just published a book myself and I would love feedback from someone as accomplished as yourself! (I wonder if you know my friend Brian Parks--NYC playwright outta Detroit?)Lee Foust

Thanks for the friend request, Jeff! We definitely have a lot of books in common, so I look forward to interacting with you on the ol' Goodreads.
Jeff, how kind of you. Thank you for the friendship and I look forward to your thoughts and opinions on our favourite (and perhaps less than favourite) books.
Jeff wrote: "Thanks Kris! Looking forward to exchanges recs and reviews as well. For starters, I've been wanting to read "Heroines" and will be interested to hear how you like it."I'm glad to hear you're thinking of reading Heroines. I'm enjoying it so far -- it's interesting to see Zambreno's approach to weaving her biographical and literary criticism into her reflections on her own experiences. I've just stated Part Two, so I'm eager to see where she takes the book.
Thanks Kris! Looking forward to exchanges recs and reviews as well. For starters, I've been wanting to read "Heroines" and will be interested to hear how you like it.
Jeff, thank you so much for the friend request. Your review of Vertigo was excellent, and I agree we have similar taste. (Loving Sebald is an excellent start.) I'm looking forward to exchanging recommendations and reading more of your reviews. :)
