This one has been in the pipeline for a few years. I'm excited to see it moving forward and I'll post more details as soon as I have them. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar is based on the old time radio show of the same name.

COMING SOON: Brand new Johnny Dollar! Plus an exclusive moonstonebooks.com HC with the bonus feature reprinting the long out of print Johnny Dollar 48pg comic!

A note from editor Tommy Hancock:
"To say this book was a labor of love would be understating it for me, and like most projects that are such, this one encountered road blocks and detours, but is finally on its way. Thanks to Gary Phillips, Barry Reese, Joshua M. Reynolds, Ron Fortier, Eric Fein, Joe Gentile, Bobby Nash,
Douglas Klauba, Adam Shaw (whose work will be seen on another edition of this book), and others, YOURS TRULY, JOHNNY DOLLAR is on its way from Moonstone!

The stories in this volume are top notch and this is a bucket list item for me, so it means a lot to me that all involved have weathered the years it has taken to get it out. And I feel like the story I wrote for this one is one of my best to date. But of course, I'm a fan...of Johnny's, not of mine."

More on this as we get closer. Gonna push the heck out of this.

My story in this collection is titled "The Girl’s Best Friend Matter" and it finds Johnny on the trail of jewel thieves who are after the most precious of treasures.

Stay tuned for more details as I get them.

Bobby Nash I was out and about most of the day handling real world stuff and some family issues. It was great spending the day with my dad, which was a nice bonus. The good news is, I now have functional breaks on my car. I'm sure pedestrians everywhere will breathe easier. I know I do.
Got in a little evening writing, but pushing away early to try and wind down and go to sleep early. I'm doing an extras gig tomorrow so I have to get up early to go to set for a fun day on a cool project that I, of course, can't talk about, but one I'm excited to be a part of and look forward to talking about it later on. I also got a call today about a possible recurring background role. Fingers crossed that pans out.

message 68: by Bobby

Bobby Nash I guess this is about as official as it gets. I started playing around with some placeholder cover art for SUICIDE BOMB today. SUICIDE BOMB is a novel I will be serializing exclusively on Patreon [www.patreon.com/bobbynash] before releasing as a BEN Books novel when completed in 2019 or 2020. There are currently 28 chapters written so hopefully, I can stay ahead of the release dates. To start, the plan is to post a chapter a month, but I may up that to every 3 weeks then eventually up to every other week. I don't want to get too ambitious up front and then throw myself off schedule.

Patrons are more than welcome to give me feedback on chapters to make the final product as good as possible. I'll even open it up to work Patrons into the story if they want to get killed off in it. There are several murders in this story so plenty to go around. Actually, there is a character in this book already based on a friend of mine so the more the merrier.

Here's a little bit more about SUICIDE BOMB: "Suicide Bomb" is a thriller featuring Washington DC homicide detective, Catherine Jackson and Secret Service Agent Samantha Patterson teaming up to stop a Mastermind who has developed a method for turning ordinary people into killers. Who can you trust when anyone could be a potential assassin?

Look for SUICIDE BOMB beginning October 2018 exclusively on Patreon. Not a patron yet? Please join us at www.patreon.com/bobbynash and take advantage of our subscription plans. Also, check out a full write up on SUICIDE BOMB at www.bobbynash.com.

A Life Half-Forgotten

I picked up my buddy, James Burns' new autobiographical graphic novel (autobiographic novel?) at #DragonCon2018 and read it today. James does these bio tales really well. I suggest checking out his others as well.

A Life Half-Forgotten deals with memory. What are your first memories? James shares his and that kicks off this story of family drama, personal growth, becoming an artist, and murder. A good read. A Life Half-Forgotten: A Graphic Memoir is written, drawn, lettered, and gray-toned by James Burns. You should give it a look.

Bobby Nash We love reader reviews! Huge thanks to Marcus Bucklin for his kind words and 5 STAR Amazon review for The Wraith novel, Sanderson of Metro by Frank Dirscherl and me. You can find it now on Amazon here: www.amazon.com/Sanderson-Metro-Frank-... Only $13.58 in paperback.

Marcus says: Let’s talk about SANDERSON OF METRO by Frank Dirscherl and Bobby Nash and published by Trinity Comics. This one took me a little longer to read than past WRAITH volumes, but I think part of that was I was subconsciously taking my time because I was enjoying the novel so much. This book is at its heart an origin story, but not the typical origin story, if you’re familiar with the WRAITH’S lore and the character of PAUL SANDERSON. The writing is great and well edited, and even though it lacks some of the typical Dirscherl style, the novel is still a great work of Neo Pulp/Superhero fiction worthy of any collection. Dirscherl and Nash need to be applauded for collaborating on a fantastic prequel novel that answers many lingering questions many readers may have had about the history of the WRAITH. The book is well plotted and the pacing is perfect, even when the narrative is jumping back and forth in time. At the end of the day, this novel is a worthy addition to the WRAITH’S continuing story and a necessary purchase if you’re a fan of the character. It’s also just a flat out enjoyable reading experience. What more could you ask for in a Neo Pulp/Superhero novel? Definitely look out for this book if you’re a fan of THE SPIDER, THE SHADOW, or BATMAN comics made around the 70’s and 80’s. 5/5 stars.

Thanks again, Marcus.
