A B Potts Hi Glenn, I've downloaded the sample and will give it a go. Thank you.
Ditto with my own novels or, if you prefer, the fist few chapters are available to read via their respective blogs http://imperfect-weapon.blogspot.co.uk/ and http://black-dog-potts.blogspot.co.uk/
:-)

Glenn Soucy Hi A.B. Potts, I see in profile that you like scifi, fantasy. Can I convince you to take a look at the Blood Tithe series? The first five chapters are free. Thanks

A B Potts Hi Jack. Lovely to meet you again. Yes, and much to my delight, female S/F writers are now appearing everywhere! It's nice to see the mould broken at last! It is funny though; it was only about a year ago, when I was looking at books in Waterstones, I found myself putting a crime novel down because it was written by a woman! I nearly beat myself to death over that one! Nowadays I look at the title, cover and spiel. The author's name comes last, after I've decided if I want to read it or not. :-)

Jack Everett Hi AB this is becoming regular. I class myself as a reader of S/F first, author second and have read too many good female S/F authors to prejudge. The last book I read by a female 'Of Machines & Magics' by Adele Abbot is still filling my head. What an imagination it makes my works look pale by comparison.
Writer first gender should play no part.
