Thanks for the recommendation for Stephen King's The Stand. It has been so many years since I read it. I always list it as my favorite book, I'll have to check out this version.

You just have to give her a little time to build up some trust. You could lure her out of wherever she's hiding with a little sweet treat then pick her up. She probably just needs to get used to being handled. It took my two a while because they came from a pet shop and had hardly been handled.

Hi Billy, yes I'm a great rat fan. My two were very shy when I first got them and it took a few weeks for them to even come out of their cage for a proper exploration of their new home, but now they're cheeky little madams who scoot around wherever they please.
