Dear Dimitri,I would like to thank you so much for being my friend here on GoodReads, which is a brilliant site where one is able to converse with so many likeminded people including authors and readers, writers and book bloggers. I very much enjoy reading your reviews and thank you once again for your request.

Hi Marisette, you too have a nice name, very French. In Greece the tradition is to name your daughter/son after the grandmother/grandfather, so I got my grand father's name. The name comes from Saint Dimitrios who was a martyr. I wish you soon have a healthy and pretty son, Dimitri. By the way the female version is Dimitra.
Have a great day,
Dimitri
Hi Dimitri,Thanks for the friendship. Love your name. If I have another son, my husband and I have picked Demitri.

Hi Jenni,
I first want to thank you for becoming my recently added friend :).
I'm through with writing my July 2012 book, DEEP BLUE EYES ON THE GREEK ISLES. You can follow the process of the various stages of my activities on my FB book fan page: https://www.facebook.com/greekisles My name is Dimitri Sarantis, I'm Greek-American but live in Athens (sigh). I studied at Brown U. and Harvard and work as a chief financial analyst in Greece's largest manufacturing Co. My passion is writing romance suspense novels and poetry.

I would be interested. How could we try this out? Sending you the first chapter, I have to make an editor's decision by Jan. 03 2012.
Cheers,
Dimitri
You added me as a friend and without reading your book, solely going by your blurb, I should have liked to edit your work. Not that I am an editor but I know good work that needs tweaking...cheers.
Hi Dimitri! Thanks for friending this author and adding me to your group of friends. Have a lovely holiday weekend!
The thing I see with your writing, is that you are a more advanced architect of romance fiction than I am, for starters. You have some tendency to make things a little too James Bond perfect, beyond what life really is like, but that's not to say that you are not growing or valid as a writer. Your characters are somewhat cliche, as opposed to being real, live people, with ordinary fallacies and faults, but there are a lot of people who enjoy James Bond, and a lot of people who enjoy the glamour of the Greeks. Your descriptions of the torrid love affair lost my attention, since schmaltz is not my genre, but I am well aware that I need to grow a lot more, in the sense of being able to construct believable characters and plots of fiction of my own. Mostly, I write from personal experience, rather than from a state of precalculation. I would be very interested in learning more about how to write fiction, but I could not, honestly, get thru your story the way it stands.
