That's great news. I'm anxious to see her review.

Dave,Valerie worked oput whatever the problem was and has a copy of our book. She said she read teh first chapter and liked the style. She was an English major and says she would like to provide a review.
Note that Kindle uses .mobi files, but there are ePub hacks. Anyway, I suggest sticking with the .mobi file (so ignore previous hints to the contrary). The .mobi version on Smashwords (presently free with Code RE100) worked fine on Kindle for PC. Took about 1 minute to download .mobi from Smashwords. The Kindle app launched automatically and ran with no errors. You can synch to a real Kindle with your USB cable.
Not sure what's going on there. When we first published, I tested everything. I downloaded the book for my Kindle for PC, Nook for PC, and other readers (on PC). The online emulators worked OK too, as did HTML, plain text, PDF, etc. If they are trying to get the book from Amazon, it should work OK. If trying to get an ePub file from elswhere for the Kindle, then the process is different. There should be online help for that. We can make this good somehow -- and we obviously need to fix it if it's broken. So, stay in touch.
Dave, This is a comment i got from a fellow author willing to read our book. Any ideas?"Gotta tell you, Bill, I've just spent the past hour trying to do this, and still no luck. It appears this should work with Amazon's Kindle for PC, and book is listed, but it can't synch. Any help?"
