What a wonderful day this is. I just got a e-mail from childhood friend, we haven't spoken in years, he wrote to tell me he was playing hooky from a book club book and reading my book instead... He and I had been in remedial reading class in 2nd grade, both being very dyslexic. Today he is professor and I just publish my first novel. Wow, it was made clear how far we've come and how few people would have guess our trajectory.
