C.H. Oh, and I'll have to move up All the Light We Cannot See in my queue. I read the first few pages and really like the style. Style is so important.

Have a great night!

C.H. A friend of mine who's reading my book told me yesterday that she's sad that she only has 20 or so pages left. What a supreme compliment! That's the kind of book I like, where you finish and you think, I sure am going to miss those guys. I think you'll really develop a relationship with Sammy and Betsy (I'd be interested to see if it conjures up any images of Tammy and the Bachelor for you).

I was so hoping you would read it, living in Oxford where so much of it takes place, though in the sixties.

The Irish book is research for my next novel.

So good to hear from you!

Charles

Dawn C.H. - I noticed you have Anthony Doerr's All the Light That We Cannot See on your list to read . I have not quite finished my review of this book yet , but I gave this book 5 stars ! Nothing is ever perfect . I know this, but this novel was so well developed around its characters lives and the light that they left in my heart when this story ended in spite of the setting taking place during such a dark historic period of time , I felt very passionately about granting this book the highest honor I could. The main people in this story ARE REAL to me in my mind and heart and they always will be . Very few writers have been able to create characters that can stand alone in that way. I greatly recommend this novel and that is all I can say for now. I am about to read your novel on high recommendation of a friend and I am very excited . I am sure it will be wonderful because I have read so very much about your writing style . It sounds perfect for me. I will get back with you soon ! The Irish book sounds good too! Dawn
