I know you read a lot of those so which ones are your favorites or would you recommend. I have read a good amount but I feel that those from indie authors are the best. Thank you for accepting :) Your Midnight Hunter review is awesome. I was initially apprehensive about the book, but once I started reading I absolutely loved it. If you're into historical romance you should check out The Soldier's Wife
by Margaret Leroy, Wait for Me by Caroline Leech and When We Meet Again by Kristin Harmel. They're all wonderful, especially The Soldier's Wife. The only downside is the lack of steamy scenes. lol

Ha, it's funny, I'm not much of a wine drinker but I just so happen to be sitting here sipping a bubbly rosé from a can while watching the extra ep of Tiger King where Joel McHale interviews the various characters from the show over Facetime (I'm guessing) because of the pandemic, while sponsored by Apple (also another guess due to the Airpods everyone is wearing). So maybe I'll check that series out, lol.

Side note, what a weird timeline we're living in.

Aaahh, gotcha. That's a great way to check out new series. I actually have the first three volumes (physical copies) of Princess Jellyfish on my shelves - just haven't gotten around to them yet.

I read shoujo (and a bit of josei) a lot more back in the day but I mostly read seinen/shounen now. I like the darker more grittier series and not so much the romance anymore. The first volume of Vinland Saga is available on KU! That's one of the best series I've read recently ... if you wanted an unsolicited rec lol.

You sure are bingeing on some old manga! You keep liking reviews that are so old I don't even remember writing them. 😅

"Probably FULL DISCLOSURE by Camryn Garrett. It's a young adult book about a black bisexual girl who is HIV+. She has two adoptive dads who are supportive not just of her illness but also of her desire to pursue a relationship/sex. The story is incredibly sex positive, her parents are great, and it is honestly the first book I've read that's set in San Francisco and manages to bring my city to life with all of its highs and lows instead of using it as a shiny backdrop for rich people's burgeoning romances like it's a stand-in for Paris. That's not really brief... but I'm kind of obsessed with that book and I recommend it to everyone I know. :D;"
