I have four words for you Becca, you are freakin' amazing. I love Hush, Hush so much, I keep re-reading it. I can't wait to see Crescendo's cover! I'm sure it'll be just as great as Hush, Hush. Just want to let you know that I love your book, and that you really inspire me to write. Thanks for your wonderful novel!

P.s. If someone offered to make Hush, Hush into a movie, would you say yes? I had to ask, some writers would rather not, but what would you do?

By far, one of the best Young Adult, Romance, Mystery book I have ever read, and I'm still half-way through. I couldn't get it out of my hand and that hasn't happened for some time.

Just wanted to thank you for putting so much time and effort into making Hush Hush an amazing book. From the moment I started it I knew that it was going to be one of my all time favorite stories. The second I finished it... I turned back to the beginning and started it all over again. I wasn't ready to let go of Patch just yet. While I was reading it.. both times... I couldn't stop listening to Say When by The Fray. For some reason it just really set the tone for me. If you haven't heard it.. I would definitely recommend it. I still listen to it every time I need a little dose of Patch.. as my friend has borrowed my book, but as soon as I get it back I plan to read it again. Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I can't wait for Crescendo. Happy writing!

I love listening to author playlists, too. I can't remember if Patch's ringtone in Hush, Hush is Back in Black, but it is in Crescendo! ;)

His Black feathers go perfect with the song Back In Black by ACDC (which is in your Hush Hush play list) I mean isn't that Patch's whole Theme song lol.

I can't imagine Patch with white feathers, lol! From the moment I saw him in my head, he had black feathers. Interestingly enough, James Porto, the man who photographed Hush, Hush's cover, also saw Patch with black feathers. Pretty cool!

Yeah, that'd be great. Your such a good writer! but. i have a question, why is patchs feathers black? arnt angels feathers white? lol idk & if he's an angel how can they kiss and etc.

Hi Becca, I just finished hush, hush and I LOVE IT!! I love Patch. He's sassy.

Funny thing is the way I read it. I bought hush, hush on Saturday while shopping with a friend. She read the back and the inside cover and wanted to read it as well. We had about a half hour trip home in front of us so I told her to start reading it out loud. When we got back to my house (we were staying the weekend with my mother; escaping college campus for 72 hours) we didn't know what to do. We both wanted to keep reading but one reading would leave the other in suspense. So we decided we'd keep reading it out loud. While I dyed her hair and did her nails she kept reading. We'd switch on and off who was reading until we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. When we woke up this morning we finished the last 30 pages we had.

I just wanted to tell you we LOVED the book. We would get giddy and all school-girl like at the same time. My mom laughed at us every time she went by but we didn't care. Reading the book out loud to each other has brought us closer as friends and we plan on reading Crescendo the same way.

I wanted to thank you and we can't wait until Crescendo!!

Hi, Kate! I honestly don't remember the exact moment I decided on the name Patch. I wish I did! I get asked that question a lot, and I'd love to have a firm answer :)

I do remember thinking it was his nickname, and as his character developed more, I realized it was a good nickname for someone who boxed for money, and was always needing to be "patched" up. Hope this helps!

P.S. You'll learn his real name in the sequel, Crescendo.

Hi, Kate! Yup, I wrote a different ending that will be in the finished book. BUT! I didn't rewrite the climax. I know there's been talk on the internet that I rewrote a big part of the story, but it's only the very ending - the final page, actually :)
