thanks for the add, Shannon, looking forward to seeing your book reviews here :) Hope you're having a wonderful birthday, you're still a kid so enjoy yourself! Blessings girl!
The Lady Emily books are awesome. They are a bit like Pride and Prejudice in that they are period pieces, set close to that time frame. The author's favorite book is Pride and Prejudice so you can see it's influence there. The only thing I'd say is that they weren't written for a teen audience. There isn't really anything inappropriate in them. A bit of kissing here and there, but that's it. Just understand that depending on your preferences, they may or may not be able to hold your attention. That being said, I love them. Of all the new authors I've read this past year, she's my favorite.
Hey, are the Lady Emily books any good? I looked at them and they sound interesting. From looking at the covers, they kinda remind me of Pride and Prejudice. :)
Have you seen the book at B&N called Darcy's Temptation?? I feel like if I read it it would ruin my view of Darcy and Elizabeth!!!
Apparently I should edit before I send my commets =) Although I think boom could be a creative alternative to book :-)
I dog ear! Mom was talking about how she can tell the booms are mine be ause I do that... She is a bookmark person
Good luck! I am a big fat loser. If I don’t win a book soon I am going to write a nasty letter. LOL! I think it is my time to win one. Two people I work with have won! What are the odds of that? It is so not fair :) Watch when I win I am going to get a book that I didn’t really want to read anyway! LOL! FYI Goodwill is 50% off Saturday! That means books for 50 cents!
Did you know about this? http://www.goodreads.com/giveawayYou can enter to win books on Goodreads. I have two friends who have won one already. I am a bit fat loser :(
